San Diego International Airport (IATA: SAN, ICAO: KSAN, FAA LID: SAN), also known as Lindbergh Field, is a public airport located 3 mi (4.8 km) northwest of the central business district of San Diego, California and 15 mi (24 km) from the Mexico – United States border at Tijuana, Mexico. It is operated by the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority.[1][3] San Diego International is the second busiest single-runway commercial service airport in the world, with approximately 550 departures and arrivals carrying 50,000 passengers each day, and a total of 16,890,722 passengers in 2011. San Diego Airport Shops & Restaurants
San Diego Airport has a wide variety of places to shop, eat and drink. Restaurants and shops can be found in all three terminals, Commuter Terminal, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
Lost and Found: The San Diego Airport Lost and Found office is located in terminal two west and on the lower level. Our business hours are 7 am to 11pm daily, closed for lunch from 10:30-11:30 am, and 7-8 pm.
Currency Exchange: Travelex offers a currency exchange kiosk in Terminal 1 across from the United Airlines ticket counter. Services include travel insurance, travelers checks, money transfer, notary, facsimile, copy, and phone cards. Travelex also offers a mobile currency exchange cart in Terminal 2 East just past the security checkpoint, across gate 22.
ATM: There are 9 Bank of America ATMs located throughout the terminals. Non Bank of America customers pay $2.50 per ATM transaction.
